Legion Post 282
All future meetings of Post 282 will be held at Ypsilanti Moose Lodge 782 located at 5506 Stony Creek Road, Ypsilanti, Michigan. Please keep an eye on this spot, I will update you as to building progress and other important news. For now the demolition of the building is stopped because asbestos was found...the old gray siding, under the new stuff that we put on in 1990, contains asbestos and must be removed by a licensed asbestos contractor, the best estimate we have is $4,900.00 which the post has approved and will be paid once the State issues the permits. The Building committee has been elected they are: Larry Abernathy, Dan Trim, Shane Smith, Amir Fawzy and Carl Holquist. The first meeting will be on June 4th at 7:00 pm. Any Legion member may attend, however, you will only be allowed to speak after all business of the House and the building committee has been conducted. Commander Larry
